Zombie cocktails contains three types of rums which are Angostura bitters and anise liqueur.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Serving: 1 Serving

Ingredients

  • 25ml white rum
  • 25ml dark rum
  • 25ml lime juice
  • 100ml pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon over proof rum
  • 1 tablespoon drifters over proof spiced pineapple rum
  • A dash angostura bitters
  • 1 teaspoon grenadine
  • Orange, mint sprigs, cocktail cherries, or pineapple wedges, for garnish

Method of Preparation

Step 1:  Firstly, add in all the rums, Pernod, the lime juice, angostura bitters, pineapple juice in a blender with ice and blitz for a few seconds. Shake well in a cocktail shaker filled with ice until the outside of the shaker is cold.

Step 2:  Pour out the cocktail into a glass filled with ice cubes, then slowly drizzle over the grenadine. Garnish with mint, orange, cocktail, or pineapple wedges for garnish, then serve.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Serving: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 50ml coconut cream
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 60ml white rum
  • 75ml pineapple juice
  • pineapple wedge, for garnish

Method of Preparation

Step 1:  Put the sugar and 100ml water in a pan and heat gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Allow it cool, this will make more than you need but will keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks.

Step 2:  Put the rest of the ingredients, 2 teaspoon of the sugar syrup and a small handful of ice in a blender and blitz until smooth. Pour it into a pina colada cocktail glass, with more ice if you desire and garnish with a pineapple wedges before serving.

 

Banana Daiquiri

Ingredient

  • 1 tablespoon Cointreau or sugar syrup
  • 1 banana, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 50ml white rum
  • 25ml lime juice
  • maraschino cherries and banana slices, for garnish

Method of Preparation

Step 1:  Add in sugar syrup or Cointreau, rum, banana, and lime juice in a blender and blitz until smooth.

Step 2:  Pour the daiquiri into a hurricane glass. Skewer a banana slice and a couple of maraschino cherries onto a cocktail skewer, and use to garnish the glass.

Ingredients

  • 50ml blanco tequila
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup
  • handful of ice cubes, for shaking
  • wedge of grapefruit, to serve
  • 50ml pink grapefruit juice
  • 1 lime
  • a pinch of flaked sea salt
  • water, to top up

Method of Preparation

Step 1:  Firstly, cut the lime and run it around the rim of a chilled highball glass. Add in some salt in a small dish and upturn the glass to coat the rim in the salt.

Step 2:  Add in the tequila, grapefruit juice, juice from the lime and the agave syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake the mixture well  to combine.

Step 3:  Strain into your glass and top with water and garnish with a wedge of grapefruit  for serving

  • 30ml dark rum
  • 30ml white rum
  • 30ml lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange curacao
  • 1/2 tablespoon almond syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar syrup
  • mint leaves, for garnish
  • pineapple wedge, for garnish
  • lime wheel, for garnish

Method of Preparation

Step 1: Add in all the ingredients apart from the garnishes in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a tumbler filled with ice and garnish with the garnishes.

Ingredients

  • 50ml cachaca
  • 1/2 lime, sliced into wedges
  • 3 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 1 passion fruit

Method of Preparation

Step 1: Firstly, use the end of a rolling pin to middle the sugar and lime wedges together in an old fashioned glass.

Step 2: Halve the passion fruit, scoop out the pulp and add to the glass. Lightly muddle again and pour in the cachaca.

Step 3: Fill your glass with ice and stir well to combine and the ice has diluted a little before serving.

Step 1: Firstly, shake the London dry gin, lemon juice, and sugar syrup with ice and strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.
